The Thalassian Accord

Unifying Our People

The Thalassian Accord

Premise

One sun, one forest, one people. It is time for the children of Quel'Thalas to come home. The Thalassian Accord is a grant-funded non-profit which aims to facilitate the repatriation of all elves of Quel'Thalas through diplomacy and, when necessary, peacekeeping. We operate as a middleman, arranging and mediating cooperation between leaders of quel'dorei, ren’dorei, and sin'dorei factions.Guildless players are welcome to apply to be hired as official members and employees of the organization.

The Thalassian Accord

Objectives

Primary Objective: Reunification of Quel'Thalas through diplomacy. This involves mediating disputes, ensuring fair play, and maintaining a respectful environment—IC and OOC.Secondary Objective: Keeping the peace within Quel’Thalas and beyond, when applicable and relevant to the Accord’s goals. This involves providing military support when outside forces threaten our borders, but also when greater dangers threaten the whole of Azeroth, of which Quel’Thalas is undoubtedly a part.

The Thalassian Accord

Divisions

Diplomats: Through ambassadorial efforts, maintain positive relations with various factions and encourage cooperation between them.Peacekeepers: Ensure the safety of the Accord and of Quel’Thalas, and aid in external conflicts that align with the guild's objectives.Medics: Provide medical support to members of the Accord, and humanitarian aid to those in need.Members can have skills that overlap in multiple divisions, but they should prioritize the primary role of their chosen division during most events.

The Thalassian Accord

Support & Independence

The Thalassian Accord is an independent non-profit organization, but has received tentative support from Silvermoon City, the Silver Covenant, and the Kirin Tor. They will not back the Accord entirely, as they do not want to make any formal political commitment yet, but they are willing to provide some grant funding for what they see as a social experiment. The Accord also accepts monetary support from individual donors. The amount of support that any one donor can provide is limited, so as to ensure no donor can have an unbalanced level of control over the Accord’s finances.
